Coolant level warning

Hi all,

To cure acute depression this morning, I took the 90q to work. Even after
standing for about a month, it started first time and ran great. However,
after driving for 15 minutes the 'low coolant level' warning came up on the
Autocheck, though the coolant level was high rather than low. I assume the
sender is RIP, can't even get the connector off to check it for corrosion.
Is the sender an integral part of the (apparently brand new) overflow tank
or is it a separate part? TIA for your BTDTs.

I can recommend hurling a quattro around back roads as a fine cure for
depression, BTW. Lost the traffic light battle against an Opel Calibra,
though... turned out to be a turbo 4x4.
