cam lobs position in #1 TDC ???

Hi.
I am assembling head and I found that I don't know how to position cam
before I install bearing caps in order to have #1 TDC. Bentley does not
mention how to positon cam when installing it. Or, at least, I did not
find it in chapter 15, "Head". If  I understand correctly it is a must
to have #1 TDC when  head is assembled, isn't it?
How to position it?
