Yes, I've seen the code that does that in the 3B.  Just didn't remember
whether there was similar in the MAC11.

I don't know that they would all turn the light on.  They should store
a code though.  With one slight exception on the MAC11 where I think
there is a timing window where the hall sensor looks OK to one part of
the code but can be missed in another.
