Yes its a gentle push on the brake while applying enough gas to maintain the
desired speed. Because the steering is being done by rotating the rear
rather than the front, that speed can be quite a bit more than would be the
case without LFB. I found I was much faster with the GTi than I was with
the Q4000, but Tim was faster with the Q4000 although he had to work hard to
do it, especially on J turns where he was also able to select 2nd gear in
the middle of the car's 120 deg rotation from point of entry.
