Can anyobody help with Range Rover 4.2

Sorry for the "wrong" content, but a friend of mine just asked me if I
could help me troubleshoot a problem he's having with his Range Rover 4.2.

Does anyone know of any lists or has experience with those cars?

His problem is that the car missfires at around 2000 RPM, but it runs
fine below or above that range. He says now that it's cold, the problem
seems more severe, but he first noticed it in the summer when he turned
the AC on and the engine stalled.
