Warning for listers planning turbo rebuild

Apparently, a paper from Turbo City with schema and spec for K-26 has a
mistake. I just snapped (damn!!!!!!!!!!!)  turbo shaft trying to torque
compressor nut to specified in the paper 15 lb/ft.  I called another
turbo place and they told me that the spec is 105 lb/in which about 9
lb/ft.

Lacking experience to feel the needed torque by hand I am scared to
death to torque exhaust manifold nuts. Some of them spin too much.  The
spec from Bentley is 30 n/m. Is it right?  What does "pulled stud"
mean?  A stud is forced out stripping thread on the way?  What is the
fix?  Drill for larger thread?
