Pin 2 is ground.  Pins 1 and 3 are +12V power sources, switched by the
driver's door actuator to cause the pump to either produce pressure or
vacuum (I don't remember which is which).  The pump will run until a
predetemined pressure or vacuum is reached and stop, or time out after
a short while.

If you have the Bentley manual for your car, you'll see that the wiring
couldn't have been simpler.
