That's a terrible joke, actually it's very close. The Asuna Sunfire is
the sister car to the Geo Storm and Isuzu Impulse, and maybe also the Nissan
NX coupe. I don't think the Asuna was ever sent to the states. It is owned
underneath the Isuzu name by GM and that's how they can claim the Sunfire
name for the Pontiac. I can't remember which one, but one of them was even
offered with AWD. The Asuna has a badge on it that says "Handling by
Lotus". They're a 1.8L 16V where the rear seats are nearly entirely for
looking at.
Here is what one might look like if you were really rich and bored with
your Honda. I wouldn't be caught dead in this one. The Asuna has the 1.8.
That's the main difference.

Maybe it is a variation of the Henway joke?
(old joke about cars: "Yeah, I have seen lots of cars in my life, the most
interesting was a Henway." Reply: "Oh, what's a Henway?" Answer: "About
2 pounds.")
Arf Arf Arf,
The Asuna variation would go like this:
"What's an Asuna?" "My old Audi is an Asuna.....Asunavabitch to keep
running."
lower-case arf arf arf.
