Best way to pass new wiring to the cabin???

well there are a couple of good ways.
- try to sneak the wire past the firewall with another wiring loom that
already has a rubber grommet sealing the elements.  These are usually a tight
fit so it could be tough
- cut a hole in an existing blank rubber grommet..  on my 4kq there were a
couple of these.  basically you can just slice the grommet, pass the wire
through, and then seal with rtv
- cut a new hole in the firewall and seal with just the right sized grommet
from your local hardware store.
