yes, it might have.....
but the seller was no longer responding to emails.
see, the seller advertised the lights that stephen bought on the marketplace.
i wanted them as well but they were obviously gone. however, the seller
offered to sell me a single eurolight that belonged to his ex-roommate, tom.
email communications were made through the seller but i mailed payment
directly to tom, the ex-roommate.
i have aol, as does the seller, which means i can check the status of email
from AOL to AOL user. (read, deleted, when read). i sent one on dec. 4 that
he never read, just deleted. however, he deleted it after i obtained the
seller's friend's phone number over the internet by searching for his name on
google, and called the seller's friend. so deleting it at that point was sok,
because i was fianlly able to find out what happened by calling tom and
straightening everything out. i should see my light in a few days, it was
shipped from GA to VT last friday.
so communications here (via email at least) were *impossible*, since, up
until a few days ago, the email i sent to the seller sat unread.
but things were still being posted by the same seller to the audifans
marketplace, which is why stephen and i were getting a little testy. not
finishing transactions that are already 2 months behind while starting new
ones doesnt jive well...

Glad it all worked out.
I can't help but think that obtaining the UPS tracking number from the
seller, and looking up the status of the delivery online, would have
helped alleviate any concerns.
