I had the very same thing happen, just as I was selling my 4KQ.
Prospective buyer just came back from a test ride, his wife opened the
P-side door and sat down to take a look and .....SPROING!!!!! Definitely
hurt some of the profit of the sale, but at least I found a junker spring
in the yard. ANY 5 cyl 4K (doesn't have to be a Q) or possibly Quantum
GL5 (doesn't have to be a syncro either) will do.
