VW head bolts and idler pulley

I have the special tool (3034) but almost never use it.

Just take the bolt out and use a big screwdriver either side of the pulley to lever it away from the block.  If you've got two
screwdrivers, it's even easier.  I've known them come out with one pull.  Takes a bit of practice but impresses any nearby owners.

Just DON'T EVER pull the new one into place using the bolt.  Seat it fully before putting the bolt in.
