..........perhaps mum didn't get to the trunk very often. Rejoice.


.................just do your best and then pamper yourself with an $80
trip to a professional detailer, who specializes in such things and has the
right materials and equipment and experience. Car dealers use these
services all the time, and the practitioners get pretty good at their work.
They will promise miracles and come pretty close to succeeding. Ask around
your dealer network and see who has the best reputation.

..................replace it with one from a salvage yard, or re-cover it
with a slip-on pocket. I've done both.
