Have a look at http://www.eubildelar.se/kataloger/ngk/assets/Ngk1.pdf
but beware its an acrobat pdf format.
83-91 engines KF, HX,MC and NF have BP6ET recommended with BUR6ET
alternative,
90-95 NG has BPR5EKU with no alternative.
My Avant 2.0E (I-5, code RT) has been lumped in with AAD and ABK which I
thought were 4-cyl, If that is not an error then the correct plug is BUR6ET
with no alternative.
I'm now interested to know what the differences are myself. One thing I
suspect is that BP6ET does not have a supression resistor, which is now
mandatory in some or all of europe.
check also http://www.ngkspark.com.au/ which has good spark plug
technology and analysis pages and various x-ref pages from other
manufacturers.
I can only repeat what I said in the first place, "In the UK at least
the dealer supplies vw/audi badged
triple-electrode NGK plugs for NA cars. I'm happy with 'em. NGK was always
the plug of choice when I was fooling around in racing Karts in the '80's."
Happy Xmas
rob
