Yes, the head will bolt to the block, but nothing else will mount to the head.  The MC intake manifold will not fit the NG head due to the injector location difference...the NG head does not have injector locations, the injectors were in the intake manifold.  The 40mm intake valve can be fit to the MC, however, by installing larger valve seats, BTDT.
