Hi all,

Today or tomorrow, I plan on ordering a Linkplus EMS system,
which is a full featured electronic fuel injection and ignition
controller. There are lots of features, such as up to 8 direct ignition
output (not wasted spark), and up to 8 sequentially fired fuel
injectors. There's a whole bunch of features included, more than I
will use.

I wanted to see if anyone had any experience or heard anything
about these units. They are made in New Zealand by
http://www.link-electro.co.nz/home.html, and they are made by the
same manufacture as the computers that plug into Miatas that are
included in the http://www.flyinmiata.com turbo kits. They have
plug in programmable ECU's for Subaru's as well.

All the tuning is pc-based, and the software is free to download.
Until the end of the year (today and tomorrow), there is a special
price being offered, around $995-998, depending on where you go.
I've been trying to contact a local distributor to buy it from them,
but I think they may be on holiday. To get the good deal, I'll have
to buy from someone else. I wanted to give the locals guys the
business, since I will likely need some assistance later on.

So, if anyone has any information regarding this unit, I'd be
interested to hear it.

Btw, New Zealand distributors are not allowed to sell directly to the
U.S., to protect the distributors "here" (in the U.S.), but if they
could sell to "us", then the price would be converted to USD from
NZD, which converts (don't quote me on this) from $1500 NZD to
about $625 USD. Then there's shipping.

Thanks,

Ken
