Hello Maurice -

My guess is that it will NOT fit.

The Audi 80 engine and transmission bell housing pattern is the same
as the 4 cylinder VW Rabbit, Golf, and Dasher cars.  This pattern is
different from any of the Audi & VW 5 cylinder engines.

The Audi 5 cylinder, V6, and V8 bell housings are very similar, and all
are different from the VW 4 cylinder pattern.

I do not know first hand about the late Audi 4 cylinder cars; I do know that
they use a different model transmission from the 5/6/8 cylinder cars.
