I-5 crankshaft differences? (MC-1 ==> 4ksq project)

Wow, does that also apply to MC-1-equipped '87 5kt fwd
automatics?
I thought I had asked this question before of the list, and the
response was that even the auto tranny equipped cars had pilot
bearing holes in them end of the cranks.
That would be an unanticipated hurdle for me. As of yesterday, I
got the rest of the wiring harness removed from the engine
compartment (unthreaded back to the firewall at least), and the
axles are disconnected now. I just have to pull the downpipe, and I
think I should be able to remove the engine/tranny from the donor.
(then pull the steering rack and install that in my '88 5kcstq, which
now is the pilot bearing removed).
By the way, while anyone's reading, where should I look for the
tools to install the new pilot bearing, and also to install the rear
main seal. I did many searches of the online tool companies, and
didn't find anything for this for an Audi.
Thanks,
Ken
