Several replies have stated that the evap doesn't _have_ to come out. In my
car the evap sits about a 1/2" from the cover, and blocks it _completely_! If
it doesn't have to come out, what is the other method of extraction?
I removed the evap about midnight last night and now have the core out. I was
doing a dash swap anyway, but the black plastic shroud around the core and
blower will not come apart (it consists of 2 halves) or out.
