My Type 44 also has a blue/white wire.
I'm sufficiently used to Audi's wiring colour changes that I prefer to
identify the wire by controller part number and pin, which is exactly
what I did. I also quite clearly stated the information was for the
ur-quattro - sufficient caveat, I think. Anyone with intelligence
(which undoubtedly includes everyone who conceives the need to do this)
will find they have no red/yellow wire, check the part number is the
same, and then find pin 1.
I'm curious as to what has brought you out of the woodwork in
hair-splitting and nit-picking mode again, after such a long period of
no useful contribution whatever from you and indeed little contribution
worth the name at all. Was it perchance the announcement of my imminent
temporary withdrawal from the list? Will being involved in a debate
when I go give you some specious feeling of having vanquished me at
last, having conspicuously failed to do so in the Torsen debate?
