Yeah, I have one of the standard length ones (~9") that I use quite often.
Great tool, but not cheap.  The shank is also knurled at the top to give
your fingers better grip to quickly run in a fastener.  Snap-On have a whole
series of them ranging from ~4.5" long (SSDMR1A) to an Extra Long one that
is ~29" in length (SSDMR24).  You could work on your car from the living
room with that one :)
They also have them with T-handles instead of the standard grip to allow you
more torque.  The screwdrivers are made by Williams but I've only ever seen
the standard length one in a Williams being sold in the general tool
distributor/industrial supply catalogs.
