Hi,
I'm having a bit of trouble reading the fault codes on my 92 80
quattro (2.8). Looking through old posts found out how to do it but still
don't get any thing sensible out. (Using test LED method). On this age 80
there are two connectors in the fuse box (It's a UK car so no check engine
light installed :-( ), one black the other grey. Looking on the
description on the lib of the fuse box it describe them as follows:

black connector:
	left pin: +
	right pin: -

grey connector:
	left pin: K
	right pin L

(left & right are as if you were looking at the fuse box from the front of
the car).

Connecting the LED from the + to - on the black connector light's it so the
LED tester is OK (Did this after too to check I hadn't blown the LED during
testing)

Connecting the LED from the + to either K or L and then short K or L to the
- This does not make the LED flash although it does come on when I
connected the - to L or K. (I was holding the - to K/L for at least 5
seconds)

All test's were done with either the ignition or the engine on.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong ?

Anyone know what the 'K' and 'L' stand for ?
