Used tranny prices

Thanks to all who replied on my CGT tranny query. Unfortunately, it looks as
if there are no trannies available from listers nearby, so I will be at the
mercy of the local yards. I have actually found 4 candidates so far, ranging
in price from $250 to $350 and in warranty from 30 to 100 days. The $250 one
is out of a '87 CGT with 97k on the odo, and has a 60 day warranty. Do these
prices seem in-line with what others have been paying for an used tranny? Or
does this sound too expensive? The tranny in question is a type 093 5 sp
manual tranny. TIA.
