Power Hungry Americans

A chipped 200q could easily outrun a Maxima on the highway-
they're about dead even with me now, and having that instant
kickdown of the slushbox allows them to get the drop on you unless
you're expecting it.

I'm sorry, but there's no way a Maxima is keeping up with a 200q
once it's chipped, unless that Maxima is supercharged. You'd also
die trying to get that thing up to 150- the steering is lighter
than the 200 and it takes an awful lot of concentration to keep
a Maxima on the road at speeds over 100- BTDT in a '92, '96 and
an '00, with each successive generation getting a bit better, but
now it's a really floaty boat of a car, even in SE form. Maybe the
17" wheel/tire package has improved things a bit.

One version of the Maxima is capable of 150 mph in stock form.
