UK Friends-16valve Audi 80 ? (Turbo 80)

    The turbo will sit straight out, just like on the '77 Fox.  I need to
get measurements on the turbo manifold and turbo, from both companies, and
see which offers the closest setup.  The downpipe has to watch out for
frame, but I bet it isn't any tighter than an MC in a TYP89.  Instead of two
pipes it's just one, and there are two pipes with the stock setup, so there
is a fair amount of room.  I plan to have a 3" all the way back, but it may
not possible up front as you say.  There could be some weird shapes going on
there.  I hadn't really thought about this as an issue, thanks for bringing
it up.  I guess I'll take some measurements with the stock stuff on, plus
soon I need to yank the head and replace the head gasket, or the head
itself, sigh...
