Good luck finding one with that kind of mileage at this age.
We just sold our '90 90Q20V last fall, with 175K miles on it,
although it was in *EXCELLENT* shape, and handled tight as a drum.
The 164 (?) HP of the stock 20V engine was more than adequate for
the car, it was quite nimble, especially with some decent shocks
and tires on it to grip and corner well.
If you go to the bigger car (the 100/200/A6), you'll sacrifice
some handling (I am now on my third of that series), although you
gain a lot in space and creature comforts. I am spoiled and found
the 90Q20V too small for me, although Angela loved it dearly.
As for tweaking, you can pretty much forget about power with any
non-turbo car. There are a few tiny things to do, which all together
might net you 5HP, but you can get that much by just making sure
you run decent gas and keeping your plugs clean. There are any
number of good suspension mods you can do that will get you FAR
more perceived speed, and help you keep the speed you have. The
car is quite tossable and perky.
