KZ engine as turbo platform

Hello quattro gang,

I'm considering using a KZ 2.2 liter normally
aspirated
engine as a turbo platform, instead of a MC-2. 

The compression differences between the two are
minimal
(8.4 to 8.5:1) and I am aware of the differences in
the head with the MC-2 having the sodium filled 
exhaust valves and different cam.

Are there any other substantial internal differences
between these two blocks? Oil squirter pistons, or
beefed rods and crankshaft ???
