[Mullen, Shaun] I have had a variety of four and six cylinder
powerplants in Volvos (five) and Audis (three) and have concluded that I get
more bang for my buck with a normally aspirated six, as opposed to a turbo
four. My very brief experience with an A4T was satisfactory, but I still
had the feeling -- as I had had with the two turbo Volvos I have owned --
that the extra honk was being delivered through "smoke and mirrors," not
directly from the belly of the beast. Hence, all three of my Audis have
been sixes: A '92 100CSQW with a 12V six, a '98.5 A4QM Avant with a 30V six,
and a '00 A4QS Avant also with a 30V six.

	[Mullen, Shaun] Absolutely.

[Mullen, Shaun] It's torque-iness and smooth but strong power.

[Mullen, Shaun] One can always use a few more HP, I suppose, but
for my needs, this is a delightful little engine.

	[Mullen, Shaun] Nope.

[Mullen, Shaun] My most favorite is the entire package. My least
favorite is minor in the extreme: I wish there was a tad more headroom so
when I sit up and reach into my pocket while behind the wheel I didn't bonk
my head on the sunroof control module. I wish the window switches were a
bit further up on the driver's door. I wish the gas tank was bigger. All
small stuff . . .
