understanding a thief? another story....

    While we are on the subject, I'm a bit peeved that someone stole the 
little audi name plates that are glued to the black trim on the front fenders 
of my V8Q....On a red '86 jetta I had a couple years ago, someone at a gas 
station smashed the drivers side door handle (left it hanging) and entered to 
take my radar detecter and baseball cap. The kicker was that the window was a 
third of the way rolled down and my hazard lights were flashing. (car broke 
down, had it parked at the side of a building)
