Huh? I thought that all '88 1.8Ses had the SF engine with a carb, and that 
injection didn't arrive until '90? Anyway, the engine code's on the paper 
sticker in the trunklid (bootlid) and on the front righthand side of the 
engine block, when you're standing in front of the car. There's a flat area 
somewhere benath the cylinder head.
