if he's insured, he's insured.  What, do you think he is insured *only*
to drive in Chicago?  Of course the rental is a bit of an issue - but
his liability policy still follows him.  Or should...

one problem is that Masachusetts has "no fault" ins., which is probably
one reason why the fuzz weren't in a hurry to show up (no blood, no
foul)
