the ABS rarely fails, it either works or it doesn't. IF it works kinda
whacky, you have bad sensors/placement, or outer cv's are too worn or
obstructed. Looking at your post below, I'd suggest finding out which sensor
is giving the inconsistent reading (most likely one of the fronts) and
replacing only that one, then go thru the rest as necessary.
