The one I'm thinking about is a different design, then, or a poorer seal,
because it's well documented to leak at 12-13 psi gauge. They generally
upgrade to a the unit that comes of an earlier model car that has no such
problem.
Which is why it's a cheap part as long as it meets the need for the 5K...
