Adding power seats

to swap power seats into a non power car you need:
the seats (duh)
the harness and switches from the drivers door for the memory (if you
want it)
the metal plate welded to the car floor - it's different
you can just run power and ground, as you suggest, if the memory
function is not important to you.
Somewhere I have some pictures of the power seat floor plate, intended
to aid Mark V. with the installation in his 80.
crudely speaking, all you need is a place to bolt down the two front
mounting points of the power seats. the rear mounts slide int he same
track as the manual version.
