   No, there are no good merits to the stock valves aside from low cost...they are plastic and rubber, junk for the most part and have no place in the volotile engine compartment of a turbo engine...I am using a Forge valve, solid billet aluminum with a solid Delrin piston instead of a diaphram, it is totally bullet proof and will last forever...it cost a whole $135.
