Aloha from balmy North Platte

Left Chicago late yesterday morning and about 80 km east of here my wife said 
she didn't feel right again and started turning different hues of white. 
 Against her wishes I took her to the hospital here they ran some tests and the 
diagnosis is influenza (knew that) but they also discovered fluid in her lungs 
(didn't know that) and will be keeping her until it clears up.  Dr assured me 
she'll be fine in a few days.

So, what does one do for excitement in North Platte...I've cruised the town 
twice, visited the mall and its 2 smaller siblings, the downtown shopping area, 
bought the wife flowers and had a couple of beers.  No Audi's around but Ford, 
GM or Chrysler should build a truck plant here in appreciation of all the local 
support.

And Mr. Semple...please feel free to give me the almighty finger as you blow by 
this quaint little town...I deserve it.
