Just use a hair dryer or a paint stripper gun on the lowest setting. Some 
nylon fishing line can be used to 'saw' the badges off, they're held on by 
double-sided tape. Use a mild solvent to remove the remains of the tape, 
then finish off with wax.

Take care not to pry too much when your removing them as well.  I was in a
hurry when I pulled mine off and flaked the paint slightly :(.
