Still running rough

Ron - some of questions to consider: is your air intake opening close to
the ground, picking up water spray? is there some sort of deflector
channelling the water spray towards the intake horn; is the intake bfilter
box completly closed, or partially open on the bottom? Try this test at
home. Start car, take water hose with spray nozzle, spray front of car
from top above hood; then spray towards the grille from directly in front;
then spray water while holding the hose at ground level about five feet in
front of the bumper. If non of this duplicates the problem, then hold the
spray nozzle underneath the car directly inside the wheels, point the
nozzle up and spray. Use a minimal pressure setting, about a quarter turn
on the hose faucet, and a wide spray pattern. If possible, have a helper
sitting in the car to try to keep the car running should it attempt to die
during any tests. This has worked very well in the past to determine the
area of problems. All of this is done with the hood closed. Once you
simulate the trouble, then you can zone in on it. Hope this helps, Tex.
