I have owned this  86 5KTQ for 3 years now and little by little have been
fixing and improving.  I actually had it running very nicely until recently.
Curious little situation just developed and I hope someone with CIS
experience can provide some guidance.

Lately turbo lag seems to be more than usual and power seems to come in
steps especially under boost.  For example, heading up a hill, 3rd gear and
I give it plenty of throttle, but not WOT, and hold the throttle steady.
The car accelerates a bit, pauses (not an invisible brick wall, just seems
to top out for a sec) then a spurt of power to a higher speed, pause, spurt
of power even higher speed and repeats.  All of this just on the way to
80km/h.

Any ideas? at all?
