Back in 1975, a local boy in Lookout Mountain, Georgia, just outside 
Chattanooga, Tennessee told me about a boy that put JATO bottles on 
his car for a race on the Brainerd 1/8 mile drag strip. Course the 
guy won, but he was about 30 feet in the air when he crossed the 
finished line, his flight soon to be arrested by a big billboard.
