Definitely a factory model. The S4 and the S6 both came in a 4.2L V8
version in Europe. Then there was also the '97 S6+ that had a higher output
version of the V8 (326hp vs. 280hp). Here is a link to some photos of the

As I recall the story, this student said he paid approx. $18k for the car
and was complaining he paid too much. Sounds like he's come up with a new
way to pay his college tuition. Whatever the market will bear I guess.
Then again the car is in this country and supposedly is registerable.
