I already regret entering into this discussion in the first place, but I'd 
like to add the following-
While I've had to defend myself against drunken/abusive people a couple of 
times, running away is my preferred strategy also. However, when the other 
person (although drunk) is faster than you are, it's good to have something 
which at least looks dangerous, which is where my steering lock comes in.
In Holland, people running around with guns are luckily quite uncommon, at 
least in the places I go to. I've never had to use the steering lock for 
anything else than a car theft deterrent, and certainly don't look forward 
to having to do this.

Maybe it's a better idea to end this discussion and return to the subject 
of Audis.
