The problem in the US may be the metrics.  I fix knitting machine motor 
assemblies, but rely on a friend to service the electric motors 
themselves.  The machines come from Switzerland, but their motors are 
either German or Spanish.  My friend has bearings in his normal supplies 
for one of them, but has to special-order the others.  Both are metric, but 
one size is real unusual.  The same may apply to the blowers.
