Largest 15" tire on a type 44 avant?

What size rim, 6 or 7" wide? If they are the Fuch 7J 15's I ran the
Summitomo HTR-50H tires in the 225-50 size w/o any rubs at all in my old '87
5ktq. Wouldn't reccomend that size tire on the 6" rim though, a bit too wide
a tire.....

I am sure that this has been covered before, but what is the largest tire
size I can go on an '87 TQW.  I am looking at a 225 50 15, will they fit, or
will I have rubbing problems?
