RPM Sensor location and size

on my 1990 200TQ the two sensors are mounted on the back edge of the engine
block just to the drivers side of the cylinder head at about the one o'clock
position if viewed from the front of the car. They are mounted together at
the joint between the block and bellhousing but are physically attached to
the block.

Failure of the Hall sender can result in the diagnostic displaying this
code.
