4kq Instrument lighting - LED Question

I think the main problem will still be that an LED is a very narrow
"cone" source of light, whereas the normal incandescant bulb will give
off a hemispherical light pattern. The LED will not "spread" enough
light to properly illuminate the gage cluster.
