I go to a hardware store.  Mine is called Scranton
Grinder, and they mostly repair any type of power
tool.  Alot of lawnmowers etc.  The guy brought up
like 10 boxes of brushes and I just found ones that
matched the best.  They were the same length with the
same length "tails", but larger in both cross
sections.  A little file or grinder work and they fit
fine.  Bearings are also easy.  I use a small caliper
to measure O.D., I.D. and width.  Look in the phone
book under bearings.  I think that one is either
sealed on one side or both.  The bearing cost me $3.60
if I remember correctly.
