I am in the process of designing a building a delrin center bearing. I have successfully built and tested one on a V8 quattro with very good results. Vibration and noise were not significantly increased. A highquality FAG bearing presses in the ID, and is held in with a C-clip. The stock bracket is hollowed out, the new delrin piece fits the ID, and 3 or 4 8mm bolts can be used to hold the delrin in place thru the stock bracket.

I am looking for 10 takers leaving a price of $45 for the delrin piece itself, and I can provide you with a part # for the bearing and circlip. The bearing runs about $20 retail. Shipping will cost a flat $5.

Please let me know if you are intersted, most of the cost is going to setup and machining. If I can not get 10, then obvously the price will go up accordingly.
