Hall Effect Sensor in CS5000 TQ Distributor

Upon performing the diagnostics, it appears that my Hall effect sensor is 
shot. My local Audi dealer says this part is not sold seperately - that i 
must buy the entire distributor. Does anyone know if this is true, or know 
another source for this item? The P/N is Bosch 1-230-329-038. 
Also, is there anything i should know about before reassembling the 
distributor if i do find the sensor?
