Did that 200qa in New Mexico get sold? From the sound of the ad, it
was a really nice car for about $13k, IIRC. Have you checked out Dave
Flagg's car in Burlington? That was talked about rather recently, I
have no idea what kind of shape it is in.

I will not buy a car that needs paint. That's a major PITA. Clean
interior and exterior are a must. The little niggling mechanical
problems can be addressed.

BTW, I think you'll have a hard time finding an S6 Avant as well- they're
very rare cars. Maybe you should buy Dan Simoes' car and benefit the
list by doing so. I guess I was lucky (a friend of mine was luckier by
buying his 200q20v Avant for peanuts) in finding a nice car that has
not needed lots of maintenance and looks nice as well.

I have found mint 5ktqs as well- my mechanic works on one, it is so nice
that it's hard to believe that the car is an '87 w/ 140k miles on it.
